Meet the Student Council!

Executive Council

President

Firstly, we have, Syed Muhammad Meesam as your President - a 12th-grade student of the Diploma Programme, who recently joined us in the academic year of 2021.

“This year Kuri will excel above all and to do so I need the collaboration and support of everyone in this talented and brilliant family. We are all a team and I am here to implement your views so if you have any ideas/suggestions or you need to talk about anything you can contact me through email or G-chat anytime. Looking forward to an amazing year ahead.” - Meesam

Vice-President

Our Vice President for this year is Danyal Naveed Khan, an A2 student who has been with us for many years since 2015.

“I joined HS Kuri at the age of 9, and in my 7 years at this school, I have grown, seen myself develop, and found the nurturing that has made me who I am today. Now, in my last year at Kuri, I look forward to serving my community and leading the Executive Council to maximize opportunities for my fellow students. I believe that Student Government can play a major role in improving the learning environment and overall experience.” - Danyal

Co-Secretaries

Due to a tie during elections this year, we are privileged to have two General Secretaries on the Executive Council. Aleena Sher and Haniah Khan, are both DP1 students who have been members of the Kuri family since 2020 and 2018 respectively.

“Do you know what’s better than one secretary? Two secretaries! This year I hope to organize and coordinate a bucket load of fun times and work hard to be the secretary we all need. I’m proud to be a part of such an amazing team.” - Aleena

“Tasked with being a chronicler for HS Kuri's Student Government, I feel I will soon become a walking encyclopedia full of Kuri policies and procedures. I genuinely look forward to working with all the students, the staff, and the parent body to make this year the smoothest roller coaster you've ever ridden!” - Haniah

Treasurer

Abdullah Ravji, a DP1 student who has been a member of Kuri since 2020 as your Treasurer.

“I’m beyond excited to work with our outstanding student government. This is our chance to develop a truly valuable relationship between the student body and government and shape an impactful, powerful and productive year. All I can say is that, yes, I do feel so Maison-Margiela-Business-Bro-E-Commerce-Donna-Tartt-Oakley-Sunglasses- 80s-Corporate-Chic-Silver-Jewelry-Only-Voss-Drinking-Bleached-Buzz-Cut-iPhone-8-Doc-Marten-Flare-Jeans right now.
